Data protection

We understand how important it is to protect our customers' data, which is why DinnerPay is voluntarily registered with the Information Commissioners Office as a Data Processor.

Schools or caterers using DinnerPay should already be registered as a Data Controller. It is their responsibility to take care of any data held by them and to give you the chance to manage and update any data in their system.

DinnerPay's ICO registration number is ZA101135.

All customer data stored in DinnerPay is located in the UK, at a secure data centre which complies with a range of ISO standards:

Payment security & PCI compliance

DinnerPay provides a secure & user-friendly online system for school meal payments.

All payments made using DinnerPay are transmitted securely, over an encrypted SSL connection. Cardholder data is sent directly to our payment processor via a “direct post", completely bypassing the DinnerPay servers.

We are proud to have a strong relationship with our PCI Level 1 certified Payment Provider, Stripe.

We work hard to keep DinnerPay online 24/7. Occasionally, we need to carry out maintenance, or fix an unexpected problem. If this happens, we aim to keep disruption to a minimum and always try to let you know if we can.
